About Me

I am an IT Analyst for a company called Chromalloy. I've been with them for 3 years and counting. I graduated in 2013 from Lehman College (CUNY) and acquired a B.S. in science/texas/houston">computer science. I was born and raised in New York City.

Experience

As a technical support representative for Altice USA, I developed a passion for educating customers on resolving their issues. I became very effective at explaining complex technical issues to non-technical people. The key was to identify their need, fix their problem, and educate them to avoid the issue in the future. These are important tools that I still use in my current job today to train other employees, and that I can easily translate into tutoring.

Approach

Everyone has different learning styles. I personally learn things by doing more than watching. I want to bring a balanced learning approach that fits the student's needs and identify what works best for that particular student. I also look to simplify the subject in a way that becomes more understandable to the student and use analogies relevant to the student to make it interesting.
