Fun Facts

Sports, I absolutely love to watch, talk, and play sports! I regularly watch Football (The European version as well), Baseball, and Hockey. With that said I support all Chicago teams but have been a Cubs fan since I was a child (No offense Sox fans!). I work out regularly and am involved in many university organizations to keep myself busy. The ones that have impacted me the most are Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity, and Finance and Investments Group. Something that

About Me

I am currently a senior studying Finance at the chicago">University of Illinois at Chicago. I am looking to graduate in May, and hope to find work within my relevant field of study - particularly in financial analysis. I also have aspiriations of attending a business school in the future to obtain my graduate degree.

Through my association with the College of Business, Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, and Finance and Investments Group; I have had the opportunity to chicago">tutor and support peers on a weekly basis in my field of study. Outside of Finance, I continue to provide a source of guidance to students who need it; specifically, mathematics and general education. I also gained valuable experience through helping my younger sister through high school. Now that she is attending the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana, I continue to support and guide her to success. I hope to be that same mentor to students as a Frog chicago">Tutor.

When all is said and done, I admit that I was not the most perfect student coming into the university. I was unmotivated and had a hard time focusing on my studies. Through teaching myself self-starter skills, and finding outlets to motivate myself to succeed; I was able to uncover my potential and have been successful in my pursuits since my Freshman year. I plan to pass along my experiences so that students can properly learn study skills to help them find success in their classes. A few of the ways I will do so is by starting with the basics, when a student knows the underlying material front to back, it makes learning and executing advanced material much easier. This applies to both college level coursework and grade school. I like to make sure the student is absorbing the information by testing them periodically, and the ocassional small incentive doesn't hurt either!
