I have the same birthday as Donald Duck! But on the serious fun side, I am the author of a beautiful, non-fiction picture book, soon to be available as an ebook, with two publishers interested in taking the book to market!

About Me

Hello, I have many years in the education field selling children's book to libraries and schools throughout the US. In turn, I developed a love for children's literature and learning, and a desire to help more children to read.

Experience

I am an AmeriCorps Reading Corps Tutor Alumni, having tutored K1-3rd grade reading at General Mitchell Elementary School for the 24/25 school year. I am a hard study of research based methods of learning.

Approach

I have great tools to help engage children: puppets, early picture books, flash cards, a writing tablet. I also have access to many reading tools online.. Outside of any guidelines your child's teacher gives me for a lesson plan, I am guided by research based methods of reading instruction. I am very comfortable using a script for any reading program or lesson interventions.
