About Me
I am currently a medical student. My background includes a BA in Biology, previous chemistry tutoring experience (hybrid), and an ex-mentor to other medical students. I am bilingual, therefore I can teach in both English and Spanish.
Experience
As a previous chemistry tutor, I can teach students with patience and lots of support. I am very passionate about being a tutor and passing on to others the knowledge I have been able to acquire over the years by studying science-related subjects in a very detailed manner.
I tutored general chemistry in my undergraduate school to groups of 3-5 students and also provided 1:1 tutoring sessions to those who desired extra help.
Approach
As a child, I always did well in school and it wasn’t until undergrad that I found some subjects to be a little more challenging. But luckily, I had amazing professors who explained class matters using visual and auditory teaching tools which helped me make connections. That is what I incorporate into my sessions. My goal is to help my students understand the material in ways that best fit them, whether that is visual, auditory, or any other methods that they prefer.
