Fun Facts

I like movies so much, so whenever I see my student struggling to understand anything, I play a game where I become the student, and he becomes the teacher. Then, I ask him to teach me something he likes as a fact, a skill, or anything. This not only adds a sense of humor and fun to the learning process but also implies the best way to teach this student. This strategy improves the relationship between me and my students and retention rate. Also, it builds student confidence.

About Me

I am an academic and college teacher assistant at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University. I got a Bachelor of Clinical Pharmacy with a 3.98 GPA. I got a Master of Philosophy (by thesis) in Applied Statistics in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a 3.71 GPA. I have been working as a freelancing private tutor for two years, and I hope to take it to the next level with FrogTutoring.

Experience

First, I have been working as a college teaching assistant at Mansoura University for 3 years now, and since it is a public university with a huge number of students, I have taught more than 1000 students in these 3 years. I taught practical and theoretical classes: advanced chemistry, biochemistry, and statistics. Second, I have been working as a private tutor for 2 years now. I have taught more than 200 students, either in person or in small groups. I worked as an on-site and online tutor.

Approach

Since my age is close to my students, it’s easier to maintain a relationship with them as a colleague, not a teacher. I encourage them to discuss all in their minds. This promotes active learning, performance, and confidence.

If I have a student who thinks he is weak, I prove to them he is wrong by giving him easy tasks and questions while appraising his performance. This regains his confidence. It always seems to me that the problem isn’t in the student’s abilities but in a wrong notion in his
