Fun Facts
One passion people quickly learned about me is that I LOVE music. It doesn’t matter what I am doing or where I am going, I am always singing. I’ve been singing since I can remember. Singing has led to me being able to travel around the country with some of my favorite artists. I also enjoy being in mommy mode. Spending quality time with my daughters is a top-tier experience.
About Me
I am 25 years old, currently in school (again) double majoring in English and Literature. I have had the privilege to be placed on the Dean’s List. Once I graduate with this degree, I will continue my endeavors with tutoring and dive into journalism.
Experience
I have been in education for 7 years. I am a former educator. I have worked in the ranges from Early Childhood to High School.
Approach
Because I had teachers who were patient with me, I have adapted that approach because everyone does not learn the same. I observe and adjust to the student’s needs and together we will strive to succeed.

Nursing
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
During summer school, I instructed RTI groups and help strengthen their reading skills. We assessed their reading levels, met them at the grade level they started on, then later increased their skills by reading WEEKLY to reach (or as close to) their proper grade level by the end of the summer program.
English Tutoring
I previously taught 7th and 8th grade English skills as an educator for a school system.
Study Skills Tutoring
During tutor hours, where I served as an educator, I taught students proper skills to use while at home to help prep them for tests.
Writing Tutoring
I taught 7th and 8th grade writing classes and help them strengthen their penmanship along with subject/verb agreement.
Reading Tutoring

Voice (Music) Tutoring
I have given lesson to kids in various grade levels at Stax Music Academy. I also teach at numerous of churches to an audience range of youth to adults.
