Fun Facts
When I’m not carving linoleum reduction prints, I love learning about synthesizers and reading memoirs written by musicians. My current favorite is “Crying in H Mart” by Michelle Zauner. When I’m not being a homebody, I’m out at Roller Magic being a Jammer for the Connecticut Roller Derby League 🛼
About Me
I graduated from connecticut-state-university">Southern Connecticut State University with a Studio Art degree, with a concentration in Printmaking Practices. I am currently a cafe manager.
Experience
Before COVID-19, I had led craft sessions at camps and coached cheer teams. While in school from 2020-2022, I did in-person and online tutoring for all Studio Arts concentrations as well as Art History students.
Approach
From childhood through pre-teen years, school was always something I hated. I didn’t hate /LEARNING/; I hated the feeling of always being behind. In middle school, I had been diagnosed with ADHD and everything made sense! Through curated lesson plans specifically geared toward my needs, I found my interest in learning! I realized I needed more tactile learning as compared to textbook reading only. Through my own experiences with specialized learning, I would create a compassionate environment.
