I love working with families!! I have a YouTube channel for parents, each week I share tips and ideas on things they can do with their children. I have a strong dedication and commitment in helping students gain new knowledge and become successful in their own time.

About Me

I am a 27-year educator. I taught kindergarten for 8 and 1/2 years and second grade for 1 year. I was an Assistant Principal for 10 years and currently, I am a Family Partnership and School Support Advisor. I work with families by helping them transition into Pre-K and from Pre-K to Kindergarten. I have a team of 28 Social Workers that I work closely with and monitor their work, family interactions and data daily.

Experience

I have tutored various elementary grades throughout my professional career. I have done many one on one sessions and a countless number of pull outs. My speciality is Pre-K - 5th grade.

Approach

I know that children learn differently and what works for one may not work for another. As an educator, it is my mission to teach the whole child find their learning style, and adjust my teaching accordingly. Children also learn at different speeds. I know how to modify and adjust my teaching so that I can capture my student's areas that need strengthening and help them to succeed at their own pace.
