About Me

I am a junior at The City College of New York. I have real-world experience dealing with 60,000 people doing door-to-door sales plus equivalent time training as well as supervising 804 union employees at United Parcel Service. Now I am mentoring children at the Harlem Children's Zone, tutoring as well as encouraging students to achieve their maximum capabilities.

Experience

Mentoring children at the Harlem Children's Zone in addition to tutoring peers in college has been the bulk of my experiences teaching others. Classroom management has enabled me to deliver mathematical concepts in unique ways in order to ensure the message is being received. I look forward to working with more students in order to raise them to their highest potential.

Approach

Many students are poorly stigmatized in terms of their capabilities. I am obliged to work with students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds to prove what we are capable of. In order to teach a student it is necessary to relate in a respectable manner so that the information being taught is also being respected. Students have the ability to learn anything that we as teachers take the time to thoroughly distribute.
