When I'm not working or in school you can find me reading at coffee shops or in an airport. I love to travel, try new foods, and pick new books everywhere I visit.

About Me

I am a Journalism and Mass Communication major at Arizona State University. I spend most of my time writing and editing articles and essays. When I graduate, I hope to move to a different state and find a job that will allow me to learn more about the world through storytelling

Experience

I've been editing essays and articles since my sophomore year of high school when I was editor-in-chief of the yearbook and a member of the National Honor Society. I tutored classmates in multiple subjects, including History, English, and writing. In college, I've continued to edit and review essays and have a firm understanding of the concepts students need to grasp to write well.

Approach

I struggled with reading and writing in elementary school. My teachers didn't have enough time or resources to understand and adapt their curriculum to fit my needs. In middle school, I had a teacher who took the time to understand me and help me develop the skills I needed to be successful in school. My approach is to meet every student where they are and work with them on developing skills and goals they want to accomplish during our sessions.
