I love reading manga, watching anime, playing video games, and reading literature about my three majors. I'm a co-host on the biggest podcast in my state and I LOVE to work out.

About Me

I am a financial analyst looking for a part-time tutoring position to help young students with their academic assignments. I grew up in Providence, RI going to inner-city public schools where resources for academic assistance were limited. For this reason, I know the importance of educational support and I find passion in helping students learn.

Experience

Academic Advantage, Warwick - Tutor October 2021 - February 2022
● Tutoring high schoolers who needed academic assistance through Zoom sessions.
● I tutored these subjects: Social Studies, History, Math, and Financial Literacy.
University of Rhode Island, Kingston - Student Assistant September 2017 - May 2020
● As a teacher assistant I had to grade assignments, assist students with materials, and help teach during lectures.
● I TA’d for these majors: Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics

Approach

My teaching method allows students to learn the material on their own, explain their confusion, and clear up any misconceptions. I feel helping students get to the solution through trial and error helps the teacher see where the student is struggling with the material, and allows the student to gain confidence/problem-solving skills.
