As a little girl, I used to not be the best at reading. As time passed, I received reading practice. Fast forward to now I've been working in education and made it to becoming a literacy tutor working in public schools.

I am working as a Literacy Lab Tutor & AmeriCorps member.

Experience

As an AmeriCorps member, I've been able to be present in the communities located in Norfolk, VA where I have been able to assist in public schools with students with low reading performance.

Approach

My approach is to find the learning style that works best for each child.
