About Me
In my BA I was an all-A student earning Summa Cum Laude. I take studying and academics seriously and understand the importance of hard work and the cultivation of existing and developing talents. and I have a very good eye for that. My teaching style is understanding the student and adapting to their learning styles. Including implementing their passions into the work to keep them occupied and not bored.
Experience
In my associate degree, there were a lot of people I met who were struggling to raise their GPA. I identified their problems easily and helped them combat it from arranging their schedules to the Pomodoro method for people with low attention skills to grammar and editing of papers. Unlike the writing center, I spent time cultivating relationships with them and understanding them. I never criticized them or did it for them. Approach
When I was in elementary school it was discovered that I had dyslexia and in first grade, I was bullied by my teacher for being "completely and utterly illiterate" Ironically big words were not my thing so I did not know what that meant other than it was not good and I was being insulted. My mom placed me in a school that focused on helping those who had issues reading and writing. Writing Tutoring
Any class with writing involved is guaranteed an A with me. I love writing and have tutored fellow classmates though writers block and impatience with the creative flow. Editing and proofreading come naturally to me.
Arts Tutoring
I had a obsession for a while with art history books getting through all the classic artists and touching upon the less famous too. I also frequent museums for classes and art viewing. I know many different art forms and techniques from cubism to realism, their originators and how to execute them on paper or canvas, and practice them regularly in a group with my former classmates in art classes around the city.

I have spoken English all my life and am able to speak, read and write at a professional level. I am well versed in the teaching of different learning styles and methods to help ease any struggle when it comes to the English language.

I have always been interested in Nutritional Sciences. Therefore I keep up to date with medical research on nutrition and exercise. I also got A+ in every class that was focused on nutrition. Both project or writing based classes and research based classes.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
After learning the basics of reading and writing as a child I dedicated myself to the pursuit of knowledge through books. I learned to speak very eloquently by reading a dictionary with the pronunciation. That is not for everyone but through reading book on and offline about struggles people have with comprehension of language both how to say words and the meaning behind it, I found a way to explain the meanings in simple yet still correct ways so that a person will be able to decode on their own after a couple tries. Although metaphors and idioms are hard for anyone because they are ever-changing and new ones are being created.
Writing Advance Tutoring
My level of writing skills have won competitions in school. I wrote speeches that were preformed by my principal that were praised when she was at a loss for what to write. even in high school I was able to write a speech worthy of a accomplished principal of a high school, which was preformed in font of a large audience with a wonderful outcome.

I've been using the computer since I was 7. I know how to use the computer very well, and I am aware how confusing it can be at times. I am willing to help in any way I can. I am proficient in both Mac and Windows and their varients.
