I have been dancing Bollywood and Indian Classical dance for 12 years. I love to write poems and stories. I can speak 4 languages.

About Me

I am a freshman majoring in science/new-york/new-york">Computer Science at The City College of New York. I am a co-founder of a nonprofit organization called The Youthful Initiative. I have also been a member of an organization called Global Kids, raising awareness for underreported minorities.

Experience

As a member of Global Kids, I was fortunate to work with kids from different schools by teaching them about films and scripts to encourage them to make short films.
As an assistant teacher in The Day School of Astoria, I was able to interact with kids through different activities, learning about their ways of taking in the teaching and implementing them. As well as, teaching them colors, different textures, alphabets and other curriculums.
As a junior dance teacher in a local temple.

Approach

I have always been a visual learner and growing up, teachers have never understood me to teach me differently. However, in High School, my 11th grade history teacher understood how I learn, and tried his best to teach me that way. This inspired me to help other kids to learn the best way they can learn.
