Fun Facts
Music is one of my biggest passions! I played jazz and rock drums in high school, and I am self-taught on guitar and bass.
About Me
I am a recent graduate of Fordham University, having earned a BA in English with a minor in Film. I hope to be able to apply my degree in a career in publishing, PR/marketing, or journalism. Wherever I end up, I want to bring my passion for writing to a professional setting.
Experience
As a senior member of my high school's rowing team, I often had to instruct younger, newer teammates on rowing techniques, which was important due to the sport's relative inaccessibility. Additionally, I have taken up numerous private tutoring gigs for cousins and family members.
Approach
When I was younger, math and science were not my strongest subjects and I struggled a great deal in those classes. However, having tutors who patiently walked me through each step of a given assignment allowed me to grasp difficult concepts that I had previously been unable to understand. I believe that trust and patience are the biggest virtues a tutor should have, as more often than not the student will be able to easily understand a subject if they have someone else guiding them through it.
