One passion about me that people learn quickly is that my son is on the autism spectrum. He is the one who got me interested in the education field.

About Me

I am a education/virginia/virginia-beach">special education teacher for a local Catholic School. I teach middle school students who have a variety of disabilities. I have been in the education field for over 10 years and I love it!

Experience

Currently, I am a education/virginia/virginia-beach">special education teacher for a private Catholic School. I also have experience working as a education/virginia/virginia-beach">special education teacher in the public school setting. Before I became a teacher, I was a education/virginia/virginia-beach">special education teacher assistant and a registered behavior tech. I have the most experience teaching and helping students on the autism spectrum.

Approach

My approach to student learning is learning how they earn. I love to adapt my lessons to each specific child to help them learn at their own pace.
