I'm the oldest of 7 kids, I have red hair, and sometimes I pretend to be a pirate at the beach.

About Me

I graduated in April of 2023 with a degree in English. I love storytelling in all its forms -- reading, writing, and performing are some of my favorite things. Sometime in the future, I hope to write scripts for film and television.

Experience

I worked with New Directions Institute to tutor students who were learning English as a second language. As the oldest of a large family, I've also had the opportunity to help my siblings understand subjects with which they were struggling.

Approach

I love the English language and all the ways it can help us communicate and feel heard. The most important thing when I'm working with students is to make sure that they are having the most positive experience possible while also learning new things. My approach ensures that the "fun" stays in "functional."
