I grew up in New York City and am an avid music lover. I am one of six kids. I love to cook and live researching new recipes and ingredients. I’ve also composed for a string quartet.

About Me

I’m a recent graduate from Bennington College where I studied music journalism and poetry. I worked as an editor on the Bennington Review for about three years. I currently live in Brooklyn.

Experience

Though I do not have much professional experience as a tutor, I have three younger siblings who I have helped in various subjects throughout their lives. Mainly reading and writing.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with reading for a long time, and found myself getting more stubborn when people tried to teach me. I think every child needs a specific kind of support, and our current education infrastructure only grants one type of approach. Because of this, I try to listen and watch what specific things would be most helpful for a child to begin the process of aiding them.
