About Me

I'm a retired Reading Specialist and would like to continue my teaching. If you have students that need help achieving higher test scores, I would love that challenge. I consider January and February the meat and potatoes months before the standardized tests in the Spring.

Experience

I retired after being a classroom teacher, then a reading teacher/specialist for a total of 30+ years. I have 4 permanent teaching certifications in 3 states including NJ, Virginia and Delaware.

Approach

I enjoy keeping my students involved in their learning by presenting them with activities and ideas they enjoy.
I find if learners are interested and not bored with their own work, they become lifelong learners.
