I love to do my makeup, and I love to play video games! I'm a new New Yorker, but loving NYC. I was the president of my collegiate a cappella group, music is one of my favorite things in the world.

About Me

I graduated from Skidmore College with an English degree in 2023. The primary focus of my degree was creative writing, disability studies, and literature analysis. Someday, I hope to write screenplays or movies - or even just some funny commercials!

Experience

In high school, I very frequently found myself educating my peers on things I understood quicker than they did. In college, I found myself on both ends - helping my friends when they needed it, but also frequenting Skidmore's writing centre both when I thought I needed help, and just when I knew it would be a good idea to talk about my work before submitting it. Through this, I believe I have come to understand very effective ways of educating both my peers and people through a more formal conte

Approach

I had 2 different high school experiences. My first 2 years of high school were at a school I found torturous. Very impersonal, very critical, and had a "the kids that were left behind were too slow to catch up" mentality. I still vividly remember how struggling in a bad environment made me feel about myself, my worth, and my intelligence. When I transferred schools, I found myself in a reinvigorating environment - one where people took time to get to know me, get to know not just what I struggle
