Fun Facts
I love kids and seeing their faces light up when they understand something for the first time. I don't believe that we stop learning when we graduate but that we learn throughout our whole lives.
About Me
I held a GPA of 3.8 taking 4 classes and working full time. I graduated a full semester early by taking 5-6 classes over the summer and fall semesters. l left my bakery so that I could focus on my education. After graduating, I looked into paraprofessional jobs, but sadly, I never found one. I love to teach and hope this is a good fit.
Experience
I loved helping my mom teach my younger siblings. I taught my 2 youngest brothers through pre-K and have helped teach history still about 8th grade. I have led and taught at my church at many grade levels. While I've never had any formal tutoring experience, I've loved teaching since I was young.
Approach
I think that we learn through everyday life. Some kids connect with different examples. I'm a visual learner I need to see it. For example, when I was a kid I needed to count M+M to understand how something added up or I needed to see a video on a history subject to understand. I want to give kids the opportunity to learn their way, even if that means breaking out a bag of M+M😄
