I am a freshman looking to major in science/new-york/new-york">computer science at Baruch College. I am interested in gaining experience along the way!
Experience
In Germany, I would often unofficially tutor my fellow students in various subjects, but specifically english writing, reading, etc.
Approach
When I was younger, my parents would try to help me understand things but ultimately just ended up confusing me more and they just couldn’t understand why I wasn’t comprehending what they were explaining to me. I want to make sure others don’t have to go through the same thing and make sure to always be transparent and understand people I’m teaching, so I know what exactly they need help with in order to tackle the problem together. I am always calm and collected and quite respectful!

Homework Coach Tutoring
I have younger cousins with whom I am very close and I always helped them with their homework. Personally, throughout elementary, middle, and high school (and now college). I pride myself in my good and organized ways of completing tasks and homework, and I feel confident that I could also help others in doing the same.

My grades in english have always been good, and reading is specifically a strong suit of mine. If I read and don't comprehend what is being said, it's not reading to me. So I always ensure that I understand what information is being conveyed, as well as the person I might be tutoring.

Conversational German Tutoring
I used to live in Germany up until a month ago for seven years, and I finished my high school education there. I feel I am qualified because I myself learned German in germany and can speak fluently. Conversational german is a specific strong point because when learning german, I was forced in a way to learn and get better through conversing with my fellow peers or other german speaking people.
