About Me

Hello!
My name is Kate, and I am an experienced ESL teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education (teaching English and World Literature) and a Master's degree in TESOL.

Experience

I have been teaching ESL since I was 18 years old, and I have worked with students of all ages - from elementary to adults. My teaching experience allowed me to work in a variety of settings - public schools, private language schools, and with corporate clients who were looking to expand their business internationally.
I currently work as an ESL teacher in one of the high schools in North Texas.

Approach

I strongly believe in being flexible while working with different students to make sure I do my best to help them achieve their goals in acquiring the language. I try to employ a variety of methods to make sure every student is successful. Practical application and daily use of language is what I believe is best for the development of language skills. I incorporate all four language domains into my lessons - reading, writing, listening and speaking - to achieve maximum results.
