I grew up raising different kinds of animals at home. The most bizarre pet I had was a monkey.

About Me

I have a BA in International and Global Studies and a minor in Business. I worked in education, both lower and higher education, for the past 4 years.

Experience

I started teaching low-income students in Connecticut right after college. After that, I started working with International high school students in New Jersey as a Campus Coordinator to help them succeed in high school. In Hawaii, I worked as an admissions advisor at a local college to help students gain entry into the medical field.

Approach

As a student, I always learned through show and tell: drawing diagrams, solving example problems, and watching others. These are how I learned best and I try to use these methods when teaching other students. Especially in Math, I always learned through repetitive examples.
