About Me

Dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse blending extensive medical experience in various nursing fields excited to tutor and mentor student nurses. As a Clinical Education Coordinator: conducted and organized staff and patient education classes, developed clinical competencies, implemented hospital competencies, mentored numerous students and graduate nurses safely in acute settings with compassion and grace.

Naval Reserves - Supervised and educated enlisted Hospital Corpsman advanced life saving field techniques and other personnel first aide and CPR.
Professional Nursing - Mentored and guided student nurses through all professional requirements and training to be prepared for NCLEX and their future nursing career. Supported co-workers in providing assistance when struggling with clinical techniques.

Approach

I encouraged critical thinking , development of care plans with measurable goals, preparation of safe medication administration, symptoms and diagnosis . This was achieved by using means of memorization, effective communication and problem solving. I provided compassionate learning while still providing challenging scenarios using nursing judgment
