One fun fact that people usually learn about me is that I love to read romance novels and travel. I enjoy helping others and also enjoy shopping, especially for clothing.

About Me

I worked at a Day Program for Adults with Disabilities in Elk Grove, California for 10+ years. I went to school at Cosumnes River College and I have an identical twin sister.

Experience

When I worked at the day program, Aim Higher in Elk Grove, I started off as a Program Aide, and then moved up to a Program Assistant. I assisted the teacher in creating lesson plans for the clients, as well as creating different program ideas and activities. I also assisted the teacher in the Functional Education Component. We assisted in creating cooking lesson plans, reading, spelling, math, science, and also assisted some of the clients on community outings.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with math, then my parents got me a tutor. The tutor was able to help me catch up on the homework that i was falling behind in, and I was able to feel more confident as all of my classmates in school. I was able to pass my tests and assignments and understand the subject being taught.
