I grew up in Maryland, but loved Virginia Beach so much when I came here for school that I never left! I played college lacrosse and love to read any book I can get my hands on!

About Me

I am a 10 year veteran education/virginia/virginia-beach">special education teacher in Virginia Beach. I have knowledge of a variety of instructional strategies to help students get the most out of their learning!

Experience

In addition to being a teacher for the last ten years, I have regularly tutored elementary, middle, and high school students. I have taught and tutored students in all K-12 subjects, and have a solid knowledge of the content taught in those areas and different methods for teaching different learners to be the most successful they can!

Approach

I have found that connecting with my students on a personal level helps them to buy in to what I’m teaching! When we have a connection outside of the material taught, we both enjoy our time together more and my students are more likely to find success!
