I am a passionate educator who loves working with and learning with students. I am also a huge visual learner, and I incorporate that into my instructional teachings as much as possible.

About Me

I am a senior education/michigan/detroit">special education major with a focus in cognitive impairment and a minor in Latin American Studies. I have experience teaching both general education and education/michigan/detroit">special education.

Experience

I have 2 years of student teaching experience, including 2 years of tutoring high school students who are looking toward their college futures.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with my educational journey. As I got older, I learned that there are various ways to learn, and I had to learn what my preferred learning style is. I take this same approach into my teaching style and try different approaches to help my students grow in their educational journey.
