Fun Facts
My passion is helping others. I worked closely with the Blind Commission , Perkins School for the Blind, and the Association for the Blind. I have held workshops and seminars for the kids ranging in age from 11-17. I held a fashion show for albino children and other visually impaired kids. I prepped seniors on how to dress for an interview. I love watching the kids evolve.
About Me
I am an adventurous person who loves making new discoveries every day. I belong to Bunco Clubs. I enjoy going on walks with the neighborhood kids looking for interesting artifacts along the path. (I walk my dogs.). I just take a special interest in children.
Experience
I have ten years experience teaching fourth and fifth graders. I also subbed. I tutored fourth graders in Norfolk.
Approach
As a child, I had processing issues. I also realized that gifted children and remedial children got all the attention while the average child was left out. That was me. I paid special attention to the middle kids when I taught school.

I taught fourth and fifth grade in Lynn, Massachusetts. I had a self-contained classroom where I taught all subjects. Recently, I tutored fourth grade in Norfolk. Subjects covered were language arts and math.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I taught reading comprehension at the fourth and fifth grade level. I also tutored small groups in the fourth grade at Richard Bowling elementary school. I have also done some private tutoring in Massachusetts.
Reading Tutoring
I recently tutored reading and language arts at the Richard Bowling elementary school. I worked with disadvantaged kids that were below grade level. I met with at least 5 small groups per day.
