Fun Facts
Fun fact about me is that I competed in a Clinical Case Competition at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus where I, and a team of 5 total people placed third building an effective healthcare system for the Cleveland Clinic Florida location. I can also lift 2x my body weight and plan on starting medical school in 2025!
About Me
I am a graduate from Spelman College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Additionally, I have Master’s level courses under my belt in Biotechnology from Morehouse School of Medicine. Science is my passion, writing is my strong suit, and with the combination of both, I believe students can accomplish anything within research, biomedical engineering, and medicine.
Experience
I scored an 11/12 on the ACT Going into my senior year of my undergraduate career, I worked as an advisor for Envision Experience where I educated over 100 high schoolers in subjects relating to biomedical sciences, research, and core subjects for medicine.
Approach
I always performed well in middle and high school, but I hit a few road bumps at the collegiate level. I learned that it’s okay to ask for help, and now I’m here to help. With Honors Societies as my actual rewards, I now use a problem-based approach to coach students through their roadblocks.
