Fun Facts

I love writing and am working to be a published author, but that is not all that I love to do. I am also obsessed with coloring books, drawing, painting, and TV shows. I have two cats and one dog that I love spending time with. My favorite color is blue and I aspire to be a traveling writer someday!

About Me

I am a graduate of Antelope Valley College with a major in English. Currently, I am a education/california/lancaster">Special Education Instructional Assistant for the Palmdale School District and am working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Single Subject Teaching Credential in English. After my Bachelor's Degree, I hope to transfer to USC for my Masters and Doctorates.

Experience

I've had extensive tutoring experience throughout my family connections and have worked closely with Schizophrenic and autistic children. I've worked in a variety of grades from changing diapers in the preschool level to subbing for 5th graders. I've also worked in several elementary schools and am adaptable to changing curriculums.

Approach

Growing up, I was always gifted with the art of writing and have pushed myself to learn alternative approaches to understanding mathematics. I was able to teach these subjects to my little sister who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and anxiety disorder and who had a difficult time graduating high school. I have developed much patience because of this and am always actively reaching for creative and innovative approaches to differing learning disabilities.
