I was born in Australia and moved here when I graduated high school.

About Me

I am a education/washington/vancouver">special education teacher for an online school. I teach students who struggle in the areas of reading, writing , and math. I am also a reading after school tutor. When I am not helping students grow academically, I enjoy making quilts and traveling with my daughter.

Experience

I have been teaching education/washington/vancouver">special education pre-k through 5th grade for the last 18 years. I have tutored several years during that time.

Approach

I work on finding a variety of ways to teach a concept that students understand and grasp on to. I am patient, understanding, and supportive of student needs.
