I love to sing and have been singing in school choirs, in church, and with a private voice teacher for 7 years.

I am an enormous movie, TV, and music buff. Some might say I have the music taste of a 50-year-old man, but I'd say my taste is very eclectic; if I like the way a song sounds, I listen.

I worked as a telemarketer for one year.

About Me

I am currently a Junior studying acting in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. I intend to graduate in December of 2012 with a BFA in Drama and a minor in Law and Society. Acting has been an immense passion of mine since I was eight years old, and I hope to become a working character actor in theatre, film, and television after i graduate college. I am very kind, caring, and empathetic, have an intensely creative mind, and work extremely hard always. I believe in giving 135% of myself to every task, every commitment. I have always loved working with children, and have over 7 years experience working with children in recreation camps, theatre instruction, and manhattan">tutoring.

During my semester abroad in London, I tutored a class of 30 fourth grade students at the Argyle Primary School. I would assist the students each week with reading aloud and reading comprehension, as well as being available for help in a variety of other subjects.

As a peer leader in high school, I mentored a group of freshman each week in various topics relating to high school life, including study skills, time management, stress, bullying, sexuality, etc. During high school I also wrote for and performed in a theatre show about issues facing teens today, including social networking, bullying, eating disorders, sexuality, alcohol and drug use, depression, etc. We toured to other area high schools.

My manhattan">tutoring philosophy has always been to strike a delicate balance between allowing the student to arrive at the solution to a problem on his or her own, and assisting the student in arriving at the solution. I woul
