I am a huge nature junkie! I love to snowboard, rock climb, paddle board, and camp! I am originally from Houston, Texas but now live in Denver.

About Me

I am currently pursuing a degree in Secondary Math education. I love being around kids and cannot wait to be a teacher with a full class of students.

Experience

I have worked with a private tutoring company where I would help kids with their homework after school. My most recent job is working at a middle school as a teacher. I teach a math elective for those who need to go over concepts more in depth. It’s similar to a tutoring session as my class size is 6 students.

Approach

Growing up, I always found it hard to stay focused in class because I felt as though my teachers were not engaging. I believe in establishing relationships and a safe environment for my students because I know they will be more inclined to ask questions and vocalize where they need help.
