Fun Facts

I love to bake. I always try to find new recipes and try them out. If I have enough free time to bake, I DEFINITELY WILL. My favorite part of baking is decorating the food. I have one sibling and I’m the oldest. I have traveled many places. Another one of my many passions is soccer. I love to play the sport. I have played soccer since I was 8.

About Me

I am a freshman in Northwest high school who is interested in learning and teaching mathematics. When I graduate I hope to attend the John Hopkins University. I want to become an OB/GYN.

Experience

I have taken part in several UIL events (number sense, math, Java, calculator applications). I have also taken part in some volunteering and public speaking events. I have a CPR and OSHA certification.

Approach

For the last one year I have been tutoring students in my school who struggled with certain concepts on mathematics such as trigonometry, quadratic equations, factorization of polynomials and surface areas and volumes of three dimensional objects. I have found that teaching is helpful in clarifying my own concepts as well.
