I am passionate about cooking. Most people know me for cooking new recipes and when they test them out, it always ends up having them come back for more. I also love sports. I am a semi-professional soccer player. Soccer gives me joy and happiness because it makes me work hard and push myself.

About Me

I am a senior in my graduate program studying Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical device packaging. I plan on becoming a prosthetic engineer that will design affordable cutting-edge prosthetics at very affordable prices for developing countries.

Experience

As tutor for my university, I had the opportunity to impact the lives of more than 8 students daily via tutoring. I was able to teach them proper studying and note taking skills. I also helped them on learning proper deconstruction of assignment and exam questions in order to solve questions properly and easier.

Approach

My approach for tutoring is to ensure I build trust and rapport with the students initially. Once this is established, then I slowly try to understand the level of knowledge the student(s) have acquired for the course they are being tutored on. Once this is done, I positively encourage the students on their strengthens and then develop an effective study and teaching plan to help work on their weaknesses.

Basic Computer Skills Tutoring

I am very proficient with computers as it is a requirement for my Biomedical Engineering degree. I believe I would be able to be a resourceful service for clients on this platform as I am constantly developing and design interactive and engaging lesson plans to help students learn concepts.

Pre-Calculus is one of the courses required before taking Calculus 1 (A math core course required for my Biomedical Engineering). I have taken this course before at undergraduate level and I had an A at the end of the semester. Since hired as a student tutor for my university, I have tutored more than 15+ students in Pre-Calculus and they ended up with a B+ grade or higher. I currently tutor students in my university in this course.
