About Me

I graduated college with English Honors. I am hardworking and dedicated. I enjoy teaching because it gives me a purpose and the work is rewarding. Teaching is a responsibility and it must be done with discipline, compassion, and patience.

Experience

I graduated from CUNY -Hunter College in 2013 with an English degree. I have over 15 years of tutoring experience. I have worked with students from the ages of 2 years to 18 years old. I have also tutored adults. I have taught students with special needs and I have also worked with autism students.

Approach

I remember being in the second grade and learning how to read the book, Jack and the Bean stalk. It was a hard read at first, but I was determined in completing the book. I kept reading it over and over until the words became easier to pronounce and to understand. It was a great achievement when I finally finished reading it without making any phonetic mistakes. Learning how to read made me feel invincible and I was proud of myself. Since then I became a lover of books and reading was my favorit
