About Me
I am a recent Cum Laude graduate from the University of NorthTexas. I majored in International Studies and Spanish with a concentration in Mexican-American Studies minor and a legal studies certificate. I am attending Law School Fall of 2025 to pursue a career as a civil and immigration lawyer.
Experience
As a Spanish translator in the Translative registry at UNT, I assisted university departments and students in a diaspora of topics including academic and personal affairs. As a native Spanish speaker, I learned to translate and help my parents with advanced documentation from a very young age. As a Spanish major, my course experience taught me what is needed to effectively teach and learn the language, conversationally and grammatically.
Approach
I understand the frustrations of learning a language. I experienced this when learning English at a young age and had to navigate language learning on my own. I believe that the best approach to learning is through conversational practice, and reading. Learning of the conversational culture helps the student learn more of the sentence structure and how to manage conversational lessons.

ESL Tutoring
I took this course when I was in elementary school. However, because I've taken so many courses about how to learn spanish, I know how to properly adapt to what the trajectory entails. ESL created a big contribution to my learning of english and I would like to do the same for others. I'm passionate about helping others gain the same advantage as every individual.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I took the SAT a total of 4 times. Each attempt I scored higher than a 650 on the reading portion. This just proves that reading comprehension is my preferred area of testing and where I am the strongest. I am confident I can assist you in getting to your goal through my method of teaching.

Spanish Tutoring
Middle school spanish is at a very easy learning level. I tested out of this because I was so proficient in the language at this point. Thanks to the knowledge I've acquired due to my major, I'm happy to say I am confident in teaching this area.
Study Skills Tutoring
In my experience, the study skills I learned in middle school helped shape my study habits I used in college. I've used technological practices, flashcard methods, and practical devices as well. I am happy to share all the methods I've learned to put our studying into the best practice.
