About Me

I am a graduate student at Alliant International University, pursing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. I graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor's in Human Developmental Science, minoring in Psychology.

Experience

After graduating from UCSD, I worked as an elementary school teacher for 3 years. During which I established an after school science program that gave students a safe and entertaining space to learn topics such as biology, chemistry, astronomy, geology, and more.

Approach

Through my experience, I have learned that one individual does not learn like another. It is important for the student to be comfortable with the pace of and approach to the material. This way we can foster an overall positive interaction with the learning experience and create effective skills the student can rely on during independent learning.
