I'm a highly motivated individual who thrives on creativity and problem-solving. You'll often find me with a paintbrush in one hand, lost in the world of colors and canvas, or diving into a realm of numbers, playing games such as 2048 and Sudoku. I enjoy going out with friends and finding new food and activity places to experience!
About Me
I am a senior at Grand Valley State University! I've been on the Dean's List for the past three years and I take pride in the many organizations and programs I am in on my campus. I'm still figuring out what path I am going to take, but absolutely know I will be working with children as I am deeply committed to supporting the growth and development of children.
Experience
I had the opportunity to be a K-12 Connect Tutor at my university. I always demonstrated the ability to effectively explain mathematical concepts to students in a clear and concise manner and exhibited strong organizational skills in managing lesson schedules and coordinating with students and parents.
Approach
The earliest I remember myself being seemingly great at math was racing to complete the 100 multiplication problems speed test and coming in either first or second. I always thanked the exceptional math teachers I had along the way because I don't believe I would have taken AP Math classes in high school or even come to not need general Math classes in college.
