I've taught high school AP Government, Elementary school and even kindergarten. I love learning, teaching and travelling. I even taught in South Korea for two years.

About Me

I taught AP Government, 9th Grade Composition and ACT Prep, Social Justice, Civics, Cold War History, and Independent Projects. I also taught reading skills in a one-on-one setting for three years. I love teaching, and I love extracurriculars. I've planned 10 homecomings over the years, and tons of other fun activities. I'm great at building relationships with students in groups and one-on-one.

Experience

I have a decade of experience designing differentiated instruction leading to measurable student growth in a number of subjects. I have led numerous teacher trainings, including AP Government trainings for a national charter network.

Approach

I find that patience mixed with rigour, high expectations and a sense of joy bring the best results. I believe that students can be held accountable for their own learning while learning to enjoy education.
