Fun Facts
One passion people learn about me is regarding soccer. It's without a doubt one of my favorite sports to play, and is the one I have the most experience with. Academically, I love working with computers, and problem-solving, and I like being able to present my own work for others to see by using technology.
About Me
I am a rising sophomore electrical engineering major hoping to attend Binghamton University starting in the fall of this year, having just completed my first year at the local catholic school Manhattan College. My hope is to work with electrical systems; specifically in the area of designing and testing electric motors and power generation equipment. I hope to ultimately land a career in mechatronics, as it is my goal to work with highly advanced electromechanical devices.
Experience
I have experience as a member of the Manhattan College Mentor Program, where engineering students are able to make connections with Manhattan College alumni who share the same interests and degrees. I also have experience working with clients and their existing orders with my job at Townecraft, and most recently worked as a front desk associate for my school's financial aid office where I was able to assist students with questions regarding their financial aid.
Approach
I struggled a lot with comprehension and understanding in my youth, and am lucky enough to have found a great support system by the time I reached middle school. I was surrounded by people who cared for me and saw great potential in my abilities. By high school, I learned the importance of communicating efficiently with those around you, and was able to succeed in my rigorous coursework thanks to the support of my peers, teachers, and family.
