I was born and raised in Sydney Australia moved to Beirut Lebanon taught English as a second language got married and moved to the USA where I continued teaching I have lost my Australian accent supposedly but from time to time people notice that there's something weird about my accent

About Me

I am married with three children I went back to school when my youngest started kindergarten I got a degree in early childhood education I taught preschool and then kindergarten I love to spend time with my kids I love to watch Netflix online shop garden and board games

Experience

I was a teaching assistant at Head Start experiencing dealing with children with special needs and behavioral issues I then taught preschool for two years with an emphasis on reading and reading comprehension I am currently a kindergarten teacher and have been teaching kindergarten for the last three years and helping create curriculum and train incoming kindergarten teachers

Approach

I think children will learn best when they know that they are cared for and that You are recognizing their accomplishments I believe in lots of encouragement and celebrating their successes motivating them I have had great success with taking children who know zero skills to children who are confident writers readers thinkers problem solvers
