Fun Facts

I am passionate about clean water and am interested in all aspects, from water resources to desalination to swimming pools. I spend most of my free time gardening and being with my lovely girlfriend & shepsky dog.

About Me

After living abroad in Mexico, I returned to the United States where I attended the Community College of Denver. Following the Guaranteed Transfer Pathways curriculum, I then transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. I spent the summer after my graduation living off the grid in the Gunnison Colorado where I was able to gain an appreciation for the knowledge and lifestyles outside of the city. Meanwhile I obtained my certification as an Environmental Engineer-in-Training after passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

Experience

In addition to Frog Tutoring, I currently tutor at Arapahoe Community College, as well as privately for numerous other students. As a student, I used both tutoring centers and private tutoring frequently. I was able to experience many different teaching styles, and therefore found what worked and what did not work, for both myself and others.

Approach

Having the history of failing high school classes and later getting straight A's at the college level. I understand what it feels like to struggle with academics, and also how to overcome those struggles and be highly successful.
