Fun Facts

Outside of school, I am learning how to DJ for fun! As a pre-med student, school can get stressful, so learning how to DJ is a fun break for me between classes, volunteering, and clinical hours. I also love Colorado and lived there for 8 years!

About Me

I am a senior Psychology major and Physics minor at Texas Christian University. I have been on the Dean's list and awarded a College of Science and Engineering Scholar Award. After I graduate, I am taking a gap year to work in healthcare while finishing up pre-requisites for medical school. I hope to attend medical school after that gap year.

Experience

While I am new to paid tutoring, I have experience in tutoring my friends for certain classes I am experienced in at school such as psychology, physics, biology, etc. I have also taught dance classes in the past and know basic teaching skills. I am confident in my teaching abilities and decided to begin tutoring!

Approach

Growing up, I found myself unmotivated when I had teachers who did not care about the subjects they taught or their students. I am extremely passionate about the subjects I teach and care about those I tutor, wanting them to succeed. I think the most important part of teaching is having that excitement and passion to care about the subjects as well as the student.
