I have 3 sons and one grand daughter and we were all born on holidays!

About Me

I currently teach 3rd grade at a charter school that I absolutely love teaching in and I am usually tutoring part time. When I do find myself with time on my hands, I usually spend that doing various activities with my family such as going out to eat, seeing a new movie, or trying one of the best place to hang out.

Experience

I have taught in the classroom for 11 years and tutored for 15+ years. My tutoring experience has taken place in both school environments as well as within a home environment one on one basis.

Approach

The approach I take will always lead back to the needs of my students. I find out what strengths and weaknesses they possess and work to not only help them, but teach them to help themselves. I am very detailed, so I never continue or move on unless I am certain a concept has been fully understood.
