Fun Facts

I am originally from Upstate New York and moved to the Valley of the Sun 11 years ago. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and reading biographies and history. I have been to the Caribbean and Europe several times. Most recently, I visited Atlanta, GA, and Charleston, SC. I also am a big pet lover and have two dogs named Fonzie and Henry.

About Me

After spending nearly 30 years in the corporate marketing and communications field, I began a second career as a teacher. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I wanted to help students increase their knowledge. Tutoring with Frog Tutoring allows me the opportunity to work one-on-one with students to excel in subjects that the may need a little extra help with.

Experience

I have been teaching elementary school (specifically 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grades) for the past three years. Most recently, I have been a substitute teacher for all grades K through 12. I have offered my students additional tutoring in several subjects, including Math, Reading, and English.

Approach

Each child learns differently and it is important to discover what works best for them. It could be hands-on, visually, or orally. I value the time it takes to get to know each student and the best way to help them excel.
