I love playing sports, especially football and soccer. I still play pick up soccer every weekend

About Me

I am currently working as a firefighter in SoCal and have been for two years. Previously, I worked after in the civil engineering industry for over 7 years. I hope to impart some of my math skills to those looking to improve theirs!

Experience

As a member of National Junior Honor Society in junior high, and National Honor Society in high school I volunteered my time tutoring younger students in subjects they may have been struggling with, especially math. More recently, I have tutored on occasion through referrals.

Approach

When it comes to math, over time I have acquired different methods of picturing, rationalizing, and/or working though problems. I like to review these different methods until I find one that clicks with those that I teach.
