Fun Facts

I enjoy reading and writing. When I was younger, and I used to express that I was bored my mom would give me 5-10 words to put into a full-page story. Depending on the words I would write more than a page, and this eventually grew my love for writing. My favorite style of writing is poetry.

About Me

I've completed 2 years of college at Purdue University Global for my certification in Human Services for Children and Family. I plan on returning to school this fall and I'm interested in my bachelor's degree in social work. My goal is to use all my credentials and knowledge to create my own group home and resource centres for troubled adolescents and adults.

Experience

I don't have any professional experience with tutoring, but I am an older sister of 2 girls (one 17 and the other 12) and an auntie to a 5-year-old boy. I've helped assist all three of my family members with learning and tutoring. I've also previously worked at a daycare and have assisted infant children with educational and everyday skills.

Approach

When I attended school, I was easily distracted and found my way of learning to be different from others. Although that was the case, I believe everyone has something to gain from learning and that there isn’t one person who isn’t able to learn. Each person just needs to discover their way to study to comprehend and understand what their learning.
