Fun Facts

One interesting thing about me is that I lived in the same house for 18 years growing up, and I just recently moved out to an apartment (coincidentally) just up the street. I love sports, animals, history, and music!

About Me

I am a Secondary Education major at the University of New Mexico. I am in a program learning how to teach middle and high schoolers, so this is great experience for me. After I graduate, I am planning to go to law school and become a state prosecutor.

Experience

I have had lots of informal tutoring with people in my classes needing help. I have always been near the top of my class, so helping people is fairly common for me. I also work with students with disabilities at UNM, so I have experience with all types of learners.

Approach

School has always come natural to me, but once I got to college, I started to struggle. I did not have the study techniques built already or good habits when it came to schooling. I had to learn all that along the way while struggling to keep up with my classes. Through my experience, I am able to help build those habits by sharing what I went through.
